Aerobics
Aerobics is defined as extended activities that make you breathe hard while using the large muscle groups at a regular, even pace. Aerobic activity trains the heart, lungs and cardiovascular system to process and deliver oxygen more quickly and efficiently to every part of the body. Aerobics is also helpful for weight control. An aerobically fit individual can work longer, more vigorously and achieve a quicker recovery at the end of the aerobic session.
Group Exercise
Do it in a group! The beauty of exercising to music with a group and being led by a group exercise leader is that you tend to work harder and longer than you would on your own. Kickboxing
Kick and punch your way to fitness! Our workout is designed for cardiovascular and muscle endurance and combines aerobics and body toning while learning self-defense. Our classes blend boxing, martial arts, and sports conditioning drills. With music and the energy of a group fitness setting and it’s a fast paced, fun packed workout!
Pilates
This class offers you a body balancing system that strengthens, lengthens, realigns and defines your body. Pilates is an exercise-based system that aims to develop the body's "centre" in order to create a stable core for all types of movement. Eventually the body will move with maximum efficiency and minimum effort. Postural changes as well as increased flexibility are only a few of the benefits Pilates provides.
Yoga
Yoga provides many physical and mental benefits, including improved physical fitness, mental clarity, stress control and general well-being. Yoga also increases strength by toning the muscles. Each class is designed to build the student’s strength and flexibility and inspire peace and tranquility. Yoga class is a place and time to concentrate on yourself, to workout, relax, breathe, and feel all sensations in your body and let go of tension.
Body Sculpting
Body Sculpting includes muscle strengthening and endurance workouts for all the body’s major muscle groups. Because there is no dancing, jumping, stepping, or choreography to learn, body sculpting is ideal for those who dislike or can not perform high impact workouts. Body sculpting also helps to prevent osteoporosis by increasing one’s bone density. Our instructors will teach proper form while leading you to a more toned and defined body.
Spin
Whether you are just getting started or have an established training program, we can help you achieve your fitness or racing goals with our spinning program. Spinning is an aerobic exercise that is performed to music on specially designed stationary bikes. This concept was created by a world-class bicyclist named Jonny G as a method of training for races. Spinning is also an excellent calorie burner, using about 600 calories in an hour.
TurboKick
Kick and punch your way to fitness! Our Turbo Kick workout is designed for cardiovascular and muscle endurance and combines aerobics and body toning while learning self-defense. This class blends boxing, martial arts, and sports conditioning drills with music and the energy of a group fitness setting. It’s a fast paced, fun packed workout! Are you ready for fun?
Fit Cross
An aerobic workout that takes some martial arts moves and works your body. This is a workout that's sure to get your body fired up.
Cardio Circuit
A Cardio workout that is fun and interesting working a circuit of stations incorporating cardio and strength training.
Group Yoga Class
A great stretch and well-being workout. Utilizing yoga poses to both stretch and strengthen the body this is a perfect workout for beginners to intermediate or advanced folks. Use this workout as a gentle exercise or a destressor.
Killer Abs
A great conditioning workout for the core of the body. Keeps abs strong while strengthening the lower back and obliques.
Step & Lift
Aerobic workout using the step to get you moving and weights to sculpt your body while having fun in your workout.
Cardio/Combo
A cardio workout with some sculpting included to give you a great all around workout. Get the heart rate up with the cardio and get your body toned with the sculpting. A perfect way to stay fit.
Steppin
Get the blood flowing with this great aerobic class using a step. Easy to follow and gives you a great workout.
TaeBo
TaeBo is a great aerobic workout using leg kicks and arm punches while working the core. A really fun and active class that really moves you.
Silver Sneakers
Silver Sneakers offers a blend of physical activity and socially oriented programming that allows older adults to take greater control of their health. A fun way to improve their strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is used as a form of moving meditation and as a strengthening technique. This is a safe way for people of all ages to improve muscular strength, flexibility, stamina and balance.
Zumba
Zumba is an aerobic workout based on Latin dance moves. It is great fun and a terrific cardio workout.
Zumba Toning
Zumba is an aerobic workout based on Latin dance moves with sculpting added. It is great fun and a terrific cardio workout, plus you're sculpting muscles.
